Seeing as I am the Director of Operations for a CPA network, I think I have a perception on making money using the CPA mentality that not too many others have been able to get access to. Not everyone realizes the power of the industry as a whole, which makes it a TRUE commodity when you know how to drive traffic, and in large volume, to these offers, or have offers of your own. I decided to take some of this knowledge and build a SHORT and to the point list of 5 things I KNOW you’ll need to look out for/ take advantage of.

Step 1: Stay close with your affiliate manager. They have all the insight into what programs are converting the best, which ones are coming down soon, and might be able to tell you the best ways to promote.

Step 2: Split test everything! If you are only running traffic to 1 page, chances are you are missing the true potential of that campaign and therefore are missing out on money.

Step 3: Stay abreast of the most recent methods of promoting CPA. Don’t be afraid to purchase a program or two on how to succeed…if you read the page and it seems interesting, give it a shot!

Step 4: Always build a list! If you aren’t running YOUR traffic to a landing page that YOU own so that you can capture all of the “lead” data…you’re missing the boat.

Step 5: Never go a day without checking your stats, I like to keep windows up all day on my computer so I remember to consistently update the stats. This will make sure that you are pulling campaigns that are causing you to waste time, and time = money.
