You can change the theme of your blog as often as you like with just a few clicks. There are also plugins, these are small pieces of add on software to increase the functionality of you blog. These kind of add ins would be virtually impossible to build into a traditional website.

The subject of your blog can of course be whatever you want it to be. You can then start to earn money from your blog by adding Google Adwords ads to each page. You apply for an account and then integrate the ads on to each page. This is a fairly simple step by step process. The clever thing is that once you have done this then the ads will be relevant only to the content of your page, meaning that visitors are muvh more likely to click on them. So for example if your page was about boats, then so would the ads. Each time a visitor clicks on an ad Google pays you something, the more clicks you get, the more you earn.

The next step is to advertise specific items that are relevant to your content. If you mentioned building a wall for example you could promote a book about building walls. You can promote just about any product and be paid for it. Many companies offer this option. Amazon is one of the biggest, you can earn a commission from anything you see on there.
