How To Get Your Website On Google – 3 Simple Steps

Is your website not showing up on the first page of Google search results? I am going to share with you the exact system I use to generate HUGE amounts of relevant traffic every day to my websites – and it will work for any kind of site you want to get massive amounts of traffic to (i.e. your website, an article you wrote, a squidoo lens, hubpage, etc). If you follow these 3 steps outlining EXACTLY how to get your website on google I guarantee you will see an increase in traffic to your site – but it will take some time and energy to get it done right.

1st Simple Step: Provide Genuine Content

The only way to get a bunch of traffic going to your site each day is if your site is something that people want to read. Its got to be unique, interesting, funny, informative, or offer something that no other website can offer. You can’t expect to drive loads and loads of traffic to a dull website! If you keep your website interesting, you will naturally receive traffic because people will want to visit your site, and most importantly they will want to link to your site!

Second Step: Do Your Keyword Research

Almost as important as the quality of information on your website is the amount of time you spend choosing quality, low-competition keywords. Don’t overlook this step! Many people do because it is tedious – and this is what will give you an advantage! The easiest keywords to rank for are long-tail keywords, being at least 3-4 words in length, however it is possible to rank highly for any keyword.

If you don’t already use a keyword tool, make sure to go to Google’s Free Keyword Tool now to start researching specific keyword phrases.

Generally when looking for a good keyword, you want one with over 300 searches per month and less than 20,000 competing pages. You can find out how many pages are already competing with that keyword by putting the key phrase in quotes and searching it in google.

After you’ve chosen your keyword phrase, optimize a page on your website (usually an article) for that keyword. Use it for the title, introduction paragraph, somewhere in the middle, and at the end of your article. This way your webpage will be keyword optimized for the google spiders.

Even if you think keyword research is tedious or daunting, you must do it! This is the most sure-fire way that your website will be on the 1st page of google.

Third Step: Backlinks!

Even with a good quality website with optimized long-tail keywords, you still might not see the high rankings you’re looking for in google. This is because websites that are linked to from lots of other websites are given a higher ranking than websites that have little or no incoming links. These are called backlinks, and are absolutely necessary if you want to rank high on google.

The easiest way to get free backlinks is to leave your link as many places as you can – squidoo, hubpages, ezine articles, forums, related blogs, and yahoo answers. Even still, this will take you a very long time before you have built up a decent repertoire of backlinks to your site. To make things much easier and quicker, you can subscribe to a good article submission service that will do all the work for you!
