How To Use And Profit From Affiliate Marketing Programs

Before getting into affiliate marketing, I would build up websites for other businesses. I’d figure out what they needed and got the right product to them. I knew a lot about online marketing before way before teaching internet marketing.

Back in the 90′s over the course of a year or so, I did a complete shift because I wanted to be a stay at home mom.

That was the best choice I ever made in my life. I’ve traveled quit a bit and operate my business from my mobile devises. It’s a really big switch to move from working in offices to working at home but that was the best thing I did in my life.

I take a commission off of selling other people’s products. Am I building up someone else’s business? No! I have a lot of people on my mailing list. I’m building up a following of others that like to read my recommendations.

When I serviced other people’s businesses I was still an affiliate marketer. I had to refer to others web hosting, payment processing and mailing list options. I couldn’t personally provide those services to other people so I just signed up to make money off of different referrals.

Back when I was servicing offices as an affiliate it was natural for me to turn to affiliate marketing. You don’t have to service the customer with questions, returns or problems and such. The affiliate takes care of all of that. It’s a completely different model and there is profit it this.

Working online is great. I can choose to work alone if I want to. I decide how far I’m going to go. There is enough to go around for everyone.

I’ve grown my business to where I’m a super affiliate. I have many websites that I bring visitors to. I just love SEO. It’s a big thrill to see your website at the top of the search engines. All of my websites start out with a niche. I’ll do my keyword research and build around a topic. I feel it’s important to build a website around topics instead of products.

I’ll pick the main keyword and put in into my domain name. Then I’ll build categories around the other keyword phrases. This is all apart of my SEO plan. Two to three words make up a category. Then I put up a blog. I’ll write articles around the longer tailed keywords. I find a good use for all of my keywords. I start off from the top and work my way down. The reason I use the longer tailed keywords in as my content is because this is great for the search engines. It takes a few months to put together, but after you set up your website, you’re ready to make money as an affiliate marketer.
