Is the New Training Program from the Affiliate Marketing Institute Any Good?
More and more people are discovering the substantial income opportunities that are possible through affiliate marketing. Because of this, affiliate marketing training courses have emerged to assist people with navigating the treacherous waters of online sales. When I was first considering internet marketing, one consistent piece of advise I received was to find a quality online training course to help prepare me for the many skills I would need in order to succeed.
When I started looking around, I ran across an affiliate marketing program run by Mark Lang, a successful affiliate marketer from New Zealand, called “Affilorama”. It’s a good program and gave me a basic understanding of the online sales terrain. From conversations I’ve had with other affiliate marketers, I’ve become aware of many other training courses that are available online. A few of these are: Ed Dale’s “The Challenge” and Chris Farrell’s “Membership” training series. Someone also told me recently about a series called Traffic Voodoo 2.0 Private Membership Site and Coaching Club. Ed Dale and Mark Ling’s basic courses are free to join, while Traffic Voodoo and Chris Farrell are monthly membership sites. If you search around you’ll find training course that also charge a one time fee.
A few months ago I was asked about a new program that has achieved a following recently called the Affiliate Marketing Institute. From what I’ve discovered the Institute is somewhat unique in the way that they approach things. The program content is very well structured and quite professional, but it’s curriculum utilizes a concise, step-by-step learning model . Over the years professional educators have shown that the most effective way for people to earn and absorb new material is to give them smaller, manageable learning segments instead of just dumping a load of information at them all at once. If you search around the internet, you’ll find that a lot of these training courses throw some much information at you that it becomes overwhelming and intimidating for many people. These courses literally have hours and hours of video, MP3 and PDF tutorials that are so comprehensive that people feel like they’ll never finish or see the light at the end of the tunnel. On the other hand, the most proven learning method is to start with the basics and then work through to the more advanced subjects. As it turns out, that’s the way that the Affiliate Marketing Institute has structured their curriculum.
The Institute will teach you everything you need to know in a step-by-step format, and delivers the material in a way that helps you apply it as your membership continues. Every few days they update the members area and add new content that builds on the things you’ve already learned. The nice thing is that if you get a little busy, as we all do from time to time, and you happen to miss an update to the members area, they automatically archive all your trainings for you. Upon your return, you’ll be greeted with that new content. In addition, you can always refer back to everything you’ve learned through the course of your training. The course begins with an introduction to affiliate marketing and it goes from there. Specific learning topics include: understanding affiliate networks, using WordPress to develop your website, niche keyword research, building prospect lists with autoresponders, article and video marketing techniques, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC), cost per action (CPA) promotions, private label rights (PLR), product creation strategies and joint venture tactics. While this list is rather comprehensive, the material boils everything down and makes it easy to digest.
There is money to be made online and affiliate marketing is one way to do it. Check out the Affiliate Marketing Institute. When you log on to the members area, you’ll immediately be impressed. As I’ve mentioned, everything is well laid out and not cluttered. The content is also up to date with all the latest strategies. As you can see there are quite a few training programs available and the most important thing is to pick one that suits your needs. Whatever you decide on though, it’s important to set a goal and stick to it.
